Our Mission

MyOwn Communications was founded with the goal of improving care coordination between clinicians, care teams, and other health resources.  We aspire to build a secure, system-agnostic communication network that allows healthcare providers to communicate and share patient information more efficiently.  We are committed to:

  1. Ensuring that all healthcare providers have access to secure communication and data sharing tools

  2.  Developing innovative solutions to decrease the administrative burden of care coordination

We believe that our directory-based platform can provide the foundation for a fully-interoperable, provider network that facilitates collaboration and empowers clinicians to spend more time on direct patient care.

Our current system is not sustainable

Despite the advent of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and other digital health solutions, providers are still heavily reliant on inefficient and non-complaint communication channels. Clinicians today spend more time performing administrative tasks than seeing patients. With provider frustration and burnout at all an all-time high, it is critical that we strive to improve the overall patient-provider experience.
